This mesh corset arrived very quickly and is of excellent quality. It is definitely spring steel boning, as evidenced by its weight. (Plastic boning definitely does not weigh this much! I know...I've made a plastic-boned corset before.) The spring steel boning makes it nicely flexible, but highly supportive.

Note that I ordered the XS, but I should've ordered the S because I was between the two waist size ranges and don't really need this as a waist trainer. If you are between sizes or planning on putting it over a costume and will have several layers (or a thick layer) under it, you may want to order a size up.

Another note about fit - I have a short torso, and this fit perfectly. (Someone else noted it was a bit short, but they may have had a normal to long torso.)

Also, the mesh is see-through, so you can put it over a contrasting shirt for a nice effect.

This is the best waist trainer ever

I have been wanting to buy a steel boned corset for years, but always had since reason not to. When I found this one with such positive reviews and a very reasonable price, I finally let myself get one. And I am beyond glad.

It is a great length for me, as my waist is significantly smaller than my bust or hips. It is centered nicely. It's easy to lace and also quick to season. It fits well and yet I have several inches that it will help me attain.

I find its quality to be higher than expected and the stitching sturdy. I will buy from this company again.

Ok Ladies.... I just got this corset about 2 1/2hrs ago, but I have had corsets in the past. I'm going to try and make this concise and detailed. So this corset is really well made! very sturdy, which is important for us curvy girls ;) Here are my measurements: 32DDD-31-42....I am also 157lbs and 5'2 (Just so you have a mental pic to help), So I wanted to but a corset that would last a little bit longer as I slim down on my weight loss journey, so I bought a M(26). It fits peeeeeeerfectly! There's a lot of room to slim down. Okay so let's talk comfort... it's really very comfortable for a steel boning corset. It forces you to sit straight and does a great job at keeping everything in. It also sits really smoothly under your clothes. The only small thing is when you tie it...you may have to bring the string around the front to knot it or tie it in a bow(that may show through a bit in a tight shirt). Other than that? this is a great buy!!! I bought a corset from another company which shall remain nameless for $75-lol but it was a rubber/latex type. It was really well made, but it was cutting into my skin and leaving welts and bruising all over my back. My husband banned me from wearing it, stating the obvious it was not worth the damage being caused -lol. So this corset was a welcomed breath of fresh air for me! It's comfortable! it does it's job and makes my waist look cinched! Also I feel less hungry, probably cause my tummy is being squeezed-lol Anyway ladies... for those of you who are on the fence like I was a few days ago... It's a great investment and definitely worth the money. I wanted to make sure I was detailed enough in this review cause I reaaaally relied on these reviews before making my decision. I read them ALL, then I read them again-lol Hope this is helpful. I'm gonna post some pics for you guys too just so you can see what it looks like. Feel free to comment if there's anything else you want to know, I'm an open book. Ok sorry these pics aren't the greatest(I had to take them myself-lol). I wanted you guys to see how it looks on its own, with a loose fitting shirt, a tight shirt, and where it begins and ends for those who have shorter torsos like myself (It begins riiight under your bra line). I love my waist clincher it's just what I needed to get my results I really want

This is a great starter for anyone considering waist training. I'm a size 6/8 and ordered the medium. In just under a month, I'm almost ready for a small. It was extremely uncomfortable at first but once it started breaking in, I never want to take it off. Yes, the strings are shoelaces but they work fine.

Well made, does the job, would buy another if I needed one.
